ZAPBC is a Canadian program. You are required to create a new account on the ChargePoint Canada website.

In order to receive a rebate, you must activate your charger using your Canadian account.
Once you’re account is set up, download the phone app.
The ChargePoint app for your iPhone or Android are free and be found and downloaded from your favorite app store.
You have to download the app before proceeding to Step 2.
There are 15 steps in total. Steps 1 to 6 below are to activate the charger on the ChargePoint Network.
In order to start the activation process you’ll need to make sure there is a strong enough WiFi signal at the charger location (you can test with your phone or another device).
If the signal isn’t strong enough you may need to install a WiFi booster, or range extender.
Ensure that the charging station is powered on (the LED light around the holster ball shows a white color).
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone or Android device.
Stand near the station (phone connects to station via Bluetooth initially).
Open your ChargePoint app. Log in if you haven’t already. If it’s your first time, make sure you have your home WiFi network name and password handy.
Select “Main Menu” and continue to Step 2.
Tell the app how the charger was installed (Hardwired or Plug-in). Select by tapping on the picture.
If you installed your charger using a 20 amp breaker, you should choose “hardwired” in this step.
If you installed your charger using a 40 amp breaker, you should choose the actual charger that was installed, either hardwired or plug-in.
For hardwired installations and to force plug-in installation, please choose hardwire and select the breaker size by clicking where shown on the picture.
There are 15 steps in total. The steps 7 to 15 below are to connect the charger to the ZAPBC network.

You will now proceed to connect to the ZAPBC network. This step is mandatory (per our program policies) in order to receive a rebate.
Go back to the main menu on your app.
Fill out the required information.

Providing accurate information will expedite the process and ensure you receive your rebate faster!
Your name and email address should match the name and email address you provided in your application.
Please take care to type in your application and serial number accurately.
Your charger’s serial number is on the photo you took for your claim:
Your application number is on the email confirmation and/or the confirmation page you downloaded when you applied to our program.
Your last name and email address must match the last name and email address you provided in your application.
You must agree to the ChargePoint connection terms & conditions.
You must agree to the ZAPBC Home Incentive Program terms & conditions.
Once you click “Submit Request” you will be connected to the network.
You should receive an email confirming your connection.
We will receive a notification directly from ChargePoint when you connect. You do not have to forward your connection email to us.
Once the 3 steps above are complete, you can proceed to make your claim.
When we receive your complete claim, and verify your connection, and claim documents, your rebate will be issued.
You can expect to receive your rebate within 2 weeks.
We do not issue rebates to customers until you are connected to both networks.
